Terms of Service

Last updated June 16, 2026

These are the ground rules for using the JUGL Studio website, the free things we share, and anything you buy from us — digital editions you download, or printed editions we ship. We have kept them short and plain. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

This site is run by JUGL Studio, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States (“we,” “us”). Questions about these terms? Write to hello@juglstudio.com.

Using the site

You are welcome to read, explore, and share links to anything here. In return, please don’t misuse the site: no breaking or overloading it, no scraping it at scale, no using it for anything unlawful, and no pretending to be us.

You should be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to subscribe, download, or buy. Our content is made for children, but the site is intended for the grown-ups around them.

What stays ours

The comics, games, illustrations, characters, stories, text, the JUGL name, and our logos are our intellectual property (or used with permission). You may enjoy and share them, but you may not copy, resell, repackage, modify, or pass them off as your own without our written permission.

The free content

When we give something away — a comic, a chapter, a download — it’s for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, and to share with the people you read alongside. Please don’t sell it, host your own copies for download, or use it commercially. The gift is the reading, not the resale.

Orders and prices

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We confirm it by email, and for printed editions the contract is formed when we ship. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or was listed at the wrong price — and if you have already paid, we will refund you in full.

The price you pay is the one shown at checkout, in the currency shown there. Depending on where you live, tax or VAT may be added; if so, it is shown before you pay.

Payment

Payments are handled by a trusted third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card details. By paying, you confirm you are allowed to use the payment method.

Digital editions (soft copies)

Paid digital editions are delivered electronically — a download or access link — for your personal, non-commercial use (the same use rules as our free content apply). Because they are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once accessed, they are generally non-refundable once you start the download or open them, except where the law gives you a right we cannot waive. If you are in the EU or UK and ask for immediate access, you agree that you lose the usual 14-day cancellation right for that item once the download begins. If a file is faulty or won’t open, tell us and we will fix it or refund it.

Printed editions (hard copies)

Printed editions are made and shipped to the address you give us, so please make sure it is correct. Shipping costs and the regions we ship to are shown at checkout, and delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk passes to you once the item is delivered. If something arrives damaged or faulty, let us know promptly and we will replace it or refund you.

Returns, refunds and cancellations

For printed editions, you can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. We will tell you where to send them; unless the item was faulty or wrongly described, return shipping is yours to cover, and the original shipping you paid is non-refundable.

If you are in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason — in addition to the above (the digital-content exception noted earlier aside). Faulty or misdescribed items are always put right. To start a return or refund, email hello@juglstudio.com.

Our community

If you join us on Discord, be kind and keep it welcoming — it is a space shared by families. Follow any community guidelines we post and Discord’s own rules. We may remove access for behaviour that harms the space or the people in it.

Emails

We only email you if you ask us to, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.

A note on wellness content

Our wellness material — calming activities, breathing, art, and the like — is made to support everyday wellbeing. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you or someone you care for is struggling or in crisis, please reach out to a doctor, a mental-health professional, or your local emergency or crisis services.

Other sites we link to

Sometimes we link out — to Discord, to our social profiles, to other resources. Those places have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

No warranties

We make this site and its content available “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be perfect, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JUGL Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we will change the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will say so clearly. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you agree to that venue. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer protections you have under the laws of the country where you live.
