Feel Never Die
Proof of Light
Comic · science fiction
A boy, a glowing butterfly, and a city that has forgotten how to breathe.
Part ofThe Clean World Series
STL collection · Sci-fi rescue · 1 to 4 players
Print the world. Hear the story. Change its fate.
Eight astronauts. One newborn who cannot breathe. One slow living thing on Mars that can save her, and will not survive being taken all at once. Print the crew, hear the chapters, and decide how much you are willing to take.
What this is
Borrowed Atmosphere is a digital collection you print at home: a crew of astronauts, a rescue rover, a repair robot, a living Martian colony, a modular habitat and a baby's life-support cradle.
It comes with a story you can read and listen to, and a light co-op game for one to four players that turns each chapter into a mission on your table.
Nobody fires a shot in it. The danger is physics, time, and how much you are willing to take from something alive.
Why it is not a model pack
Every chapter breaks something. The crew works out a fix, and so do you. Five small functional parts come with the collection, and each one only fits the way the crew designed it.
It refuses to connect the baby's air line to the sample line. If yours fits both, your print failed. That is the lesson.
It sits flat on bare rock and rocks on the colony's crust. When it wobbles, you have put it in the wrong place.
It only locks if every earlier part is right.
Parts are in engineering and have not been test printed.
We do not get to call it rescue if we destroy everything holding her up.
The choice
The organism under the shelf makes the substance keeping the baby alive. Take it faster and you get more now, and it flattens. Take it slowly and you spend reserves you may not have.
Whatever you choose is recorded on a track that carries into the next chapter. It changes the setups you get, and it changes how your story ends.
There are three endings. In none of them does the child die. What changes is what the world keeps.
What you get
Planned contents. Every line here is a plan, and we will publish the final list when the sculpts are quoted and the prints pass.
12 core models
Eight crew, the cradle, the Bellows colony, the Spool crawler and the Haven rover. 32 mm scale, supported and unsupported files.
Modular habitat
Four snap-together pieces designed for FDM, with a pipe-routing layer used in play.
5 printable parts
The functional set, with tolerance test coupons and paper fallbacks.
About 44 pages
Illustrated. Five chapters, plus a prologue and an epilogue.
5 episodes
One per chapter, plus around twenty short delayed messages from Earth, all downloadable.
1 to 4 players
Quick-start rules, five scenarios, solo and co-op, and printable player aids.
How it plays
A mission takes about an hour.
In the Mission Log, or listen to it.
From the picture at the end of the chapter. That picture is the scenario setup.
Each crew member has one thing only they can do.
Fix the loop, take the sample, keep the paths separate, keep a way back. Six-sided dice, a handful of cards, a reserve track.
The colony track carries into the next chapter.
Rules in development. Two blind playtests are planned before launch, and we will publish what they change.
Who it is for
Models made for this story and this table.
Terrain drawn for filament from the start, and tested on FDM.
Faces, gloves, worn boots and off-white suits, rather than another skull.
Something quiet and tense that fits an evening.
Scientists, medics, engineers, a repair bot and a rescue vehicle for any sci-fi table.
The mission log and the audio stand alone. No printer needed.
What is real
Every chapter has a page telling you which parts are true and where the fiction starts, with sources you can check.
This is a story, and nothing in it is medical advice. Every fact on the finished page will carry its source and the date it was checked.
How this is made
We use AI. We are not going to pretend otherwise, and we are not going to let it make the things you hold.
The sculpts, the art, the story, the rules and the narration.
Research, early concept sketches, rough blockouts our sculptor works over, draft audio used only for timing, and studio admin.
The brief, who sculpted it, the work in progress, the prints that failed and the ones that worked. We call it the Glove Ledger.
Concept art, 3D render, test print or painted sample. You will always know which one you are looking at.
If we ever get this wrong, tell us and we will fix it in public.
The licence
Print as many as you like for yourself, your friends and your own table. Paint them, convert them, post photos.
Sharing, reselling or re-uploading the digital files.
A separate merchant licence, with its term and the marketplaces it covers named exactly. We will publish those terms before it goes on sale.
Chapter 1 of the Mission Log, the first audio episode, and the Spool repair crawler model. No cost, no obligation.
The model is yours to keep, whatever you decide later.
Questions
Not for the story and the game, which work with paper stand-ins. Yes for the miniatures. Everything is digital files you print yourself.
Both. The miniatures are made for resin. The habitat and terrain are made for FDM and tested on FDM. We will say which is which for every file.
32 mm, consistent with common tabletop ranges. Every model will list its height and base size.
Yes, alongside unsupported ones. Support work is part of the product, not a stretch goal.
Not at first. Shipping and packaging costs have to be verified, and we will not promise what we cannot cost. We are looking at a network of licensed printers, so people without printers can buy prints from someone nearby.
No. People make the sculpts, the art, the story, the rules and the narration. We have written a whole section on exactly what AI does and does not touch here, so you can judge for yourself.
No. The crew, the robot, the rover and the habitat work in any sci-fi game, or on a shelf.
There is a simplified Family Crew variant for ages ten and up. The story deals with a sick newborn, so read it first if that is a hard subject in your house.
We will publish a date when the sculpts are quoted and the test prints pass. Not before.
We will name the platform and the day when we are ready. Join the list and you will hear first.
Borrowed Atmosphere is a work in progress and a working title. Nothing on this page is a finished product or a delivery promise. Prices, reward tiers and dates are not published until the sculpts are quoted and the test prints pass. Questions go to hello@juglstudio.com.
